Chairs

I am Shreya Silori, a current senior at Wells International School. Apart from being a chair who would always stop you from using personal pronouns and having direct conversations during POIs without addressing the chair, I am a very fun-loving person. It is my absolute pleasure to chair at FOBISIA MUN. I have not chaired a lot of times, like many other students. Yes, I have been a delegate a number of times. MUN has been a very interesting part of my high school. I was just asked to join MUN by one of my friends where my advisor asked me, do you know what MUN stands for? I nodded, answered and entered the meeting room. We started off by discussing how to form position papers. By my next meeting, I made a position paper on ‘death penalties’. I knew I was not too impressed by this but I still decided to continue this journey. And today I am so glad that I made that decision to continue. No joke here man, for real. It might be your first or second or twelveth conference. I promise to make this conference fun. We will obviously discuss on important issues, nevertheless will have a great time taking a step ahead towards becoming global citizens. I look forward to meeting you all at FOBISIA. Can’t wait! Also, can’t wait to see the work I would have to complete when I return to school.

Grace Hanputpakdikul

Hi delegates!  My name is Grace Hanputpakdikul from Harrow International School, Bangkok. Over the past 3 years, MUN has heavily developed my critical thinking skills as well as my confidence in public speaking. I have become more aware of World issues and its effects on the sustainable development of nations and this has benefited me both in my studies and as a catalyst for quality development in youths of this generation. This has sparked a flame for me to be inspired to research more into the international cooperation of countries in strengthening bonds between societies and cultures around the world. Therefore, I am absolutely excited to be chairing UNESCO this year and is looking forward to be sharing a progressive and enjoyable conference experience with you all!
