Welcome to the annual Federation of British International Schools in Asia Model United Nations conference 2017 (FOBISIAMUN2017)! It is our delight to host this year’s conference at Harrow International School Bangkok from the 9-11th December 2017. The conference will be 3 days long with the Saturday and first session of the Sunday allocated to committee sessions and remainder and the Monday to a General Assembly.

 

The delegate fee for the two days will be approximately 2250THB which will cover all meals and snacks, gala dinner with entertainment, delegate materials and facilities at the conference venue. The conference will be non-profit making.

 

There are 10 committees (WHO, UNEC, UNHRC, ECOSOC, SPECPOL, UNESCO, DISEC, ASEAN RF, ICJ and UNSC) with 170 delegate positions in total. There are three issues to debate per committee, which can be found on the committees and topic page. Also found on this page are the names of the chairs that have been appointed.

 

Welcoming a range of international schools not only across Thailand but Vietnam, Malaysia and China, to our campus in early December, we are all extremely looking forward to hosting FOBISIAMUN 2017.
