Hello delegates! My name is Sea Vachanavuttivong and it is an honour to be serving as the HRC chair for FOBISIAMUN. I am 16 years old and I am currently a year 12 student (grade 11) attending Harrow International School Bangkok. I am taking four subjects; English Literature, History, Maths and Psychology, and I am hoping to English Literature then complete a law conversion course in the U.K. In my spare time, I love reading, watching tv shows and muay thai, with my favourite book being Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and my favourite tv show being Supernatural

In regards to my MUN experience, I have been apart of MUN for two years, attending my first conference in year 10, and within those two years I have attended a total of five conferences as a delegate. Along with this, I am part of the Student Management Committee for THAIMUN 2018 and I serve as Director of Technology for this FOBISIAMUN. However, I am excited to state that this is my first time in a chair position.

I look forward to meeting and working with everyone in this committee, and I hope I can make this conference as intriguing and interesting as possible.

Chaejin Shin (Cindy)

Hey! I’m Chaejin Shin, but most people call me Cindy (after failing numerous times to call me by my real name), and I will be serving as your HRC Chair. I’m from South Korea (that enjoys being the delegate of DPRK), and, together with my other comrades, is desperately trying to get a hold of my life in the midst of IB Diploma. This will be my 17th MUN, 8th as a chair. I am a senior at Wells and although mainly comfortable in the environmental sciences and the SDGs, also holds great interest in psychology and other humanity subjects (amongst my listless allergies, bio-chem-physics seem to make up a large percentile).

Meanwhile aside from my passion in MUN, I am also interested in basketball and k-pop (surprise!).

Although MUN deals with heavy subjects worth deeply engaged debates, I believe it’s the best to have fun. Within the fruitful debates, I will always try to sneak in grins and waves of laughter (although laughing is not in order). Looking forward to creating a memorable first experience at FOBISIAMUN!
